Other Sites
In addition to this project, there are a couple of other places where you can find things that I’m mostly responsible for.
After realizing that the only thing that was keeping my from being on the other side of the metal barrier at concerts was the purchase of a Digital SLR camera, I decided to make some use of the introduction to SLR photography my father gave me as a child and purchase one. Soon thereafter some publicists were nice enough to give a kid a chance to take some photos at concerts. After relying on Flickr to post my photos for a while I decided to make my own page. Fun fact – I originally had the first two years of photos watermarked with theonlysiteever.com but after forgetting to renew the domain I lost it and have to go with jonkitnoh.com (as in no ‘H’ in my first name). Years later I triumphantly reclaimed the onlysiteever.com but couldn’t be bothered to re-watermark all of the photos.
Generally speaking, I’m good with ideas but bad with follow-through. Oddly enough, this is a site that (at least at the time of writing this) I actually followed through with. The site is great for finding new and noteworthy Canadian music on Spotify. Every couple of weeks I’ll put up a new playlist and once or twice a week I’ll post links to new Canadian albums on Spotify.
This is a website I made for my friend’s band. They’re pretty good. The website is also pretty good.
Getting back to having low motivation, I registered ehdio.com, ehdio.ca and @ehdio with the intention of mimicking the SpotEH!fy site but aiming it at Rdio users. Oddly enough, unlike Spotify, Rdio is actually available in Canada so you would think that EH!dio would be my focus…. wrong!
Sort of my start page. Not a lot (read: nothing) really going on there but it’s the best place to find everything else I’m (pretending to be) working on.
